As all talking therapies in the UK are currently unregulated by Government (new legislation is coming in 2011), it was one of my core values that the learning I undertook had to be governed by an official body (as so many  courses are not).

After searching high and low I enrolled on the first UK accredited:

MA in Coaching and NLP at Kingston University.

In March 2010 I became a qualified Master Practitioner in NLP with the Lazarus Consultancy and I am constantly learning and developing my skills in the field http://www.thelazarus.com/

I am a member of ANLP which is the ONLY independent regulator of NLP in the UK (all the other boards are backed by a coaching school or trainer) http://www.anlp.org/

I am also accredited by INLPTA www.inlpta.co.uk

I have also gained my foundation in  Cognitive-Behavioural Hypnotherapy (Dip CBH)

In terms of credibility, the course is a customised award which is externally verified by NCFE www.ncfe.org.uk who are a government-recognised national awarding body, The National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) http://www.hypnotherapists.org.uk/ and The  General Hypnotherapy Register http://www.general-hypnotherapy-register.com/ The Hypnotherapy Society http://www.hypnotherapysociety.com/ These are the largest professional hypnotherapy registers in the UK.
As part of my continued development and learning in the field I am in the process of completing my BSc in Psychology and upon completion will be continuing onto the Ph.D in Clinical Psychology.

I also hold full practitioner insurance. (details available on request)
